morning sickness every evening

i just puked again...it happens ever night around this time. i'm not complaining ok..? glad to be puking, but can someone tell me how to make it stop? no food appeals. i've been eating a lot of french fries which i know is unhealthy but everything makes me sick. and smells... everything i smell makes me sick.

and my husband...well, he has to have his own sickness every time i'm not feeling well. he's always been this way...i'd get a cold and he'd get sick. i'd have a headache, he'd be in pain. now it's just annoying. he's sleeping right now b/c he isn't feeling well. surprise...he hasn't been feeling well since i started puking several days ago. how convenient.

i ate nothing but peppermint for four months with baby 1. it helped with the sickness, and was all i could keep down.

I've heard sucking on peppermint candies can help. Can't hurt to try I guess. I'm sorry I can't offer any solid advice. The queasiness gets worse for me at night too, but I haven't gotten to the point of puking yet. Be sure to post if you find a cure!

I've lived on zofran. I hate taking medication, but when I was puking 12 times a day the first few weeks I finally caved. Nothing else worked for me. The zofran has worked, gives me a little headache, but nothing like the nausea. I just find I have no appetite, but I'm not nauseated anymore. I've lost about 5 lbs so far (I'm 11 weeks) but I'm sure it'll come back on with a vengence (A-OK with me!) I hope you are feeling better soon..and sorry about the hubby having the sympathy sickness. These days I feel too exhausted to deal with other's illnesses, and just want to be consumed with my own. I just don't seem to have the emotional or physical strength to deal with my husband, so he's on his own for now :-) Hope the week goes a little better for all of you!

Awww, sorry to hear about the nausea/vomiting. That is one of the most miserable things to go through... (like you don't know, sorry!) and then for hubby to be "sick", too? Sucks.

Thanks for the comment on my blog... it really helps to have feedback from others that actually understand.

Congrats, again, on your 3 little ones. I will definitely be checking to see the progress! :)

men always need to have all the attention, don't they?

I lived on carbs, they were all I could stomach (or sniff). I also know some people who swear by the preggo pops they sell in motherhood. Might be worth a shot

Sorry you're so sick

I know you don't want to hear this...but your comment about your husband made me laugh out loud. I married the same. I had 2 c-sections and he always felt worse than me afterwards. I can never win the "who's worse off". Really, I'm glad it's him even if it's in his own mind. :)
